Chairman Nunes appeared on 'Fox & Friends' Tuesday morning to discuss the House Intel Committee's report after announcing the panel found "no evidence of collusion, coordination or conspiracy between the Trump campaign and the Russians."
Transcript via Fox News:
"We need to get our FBI and our intelligence agencies working on real problems and get them away from what they're doing now, which is, it looks likes spinning in circles," Nunes said. "We spent 14 months on this investigation, looking for collusion. We didn't find any."
Nunes accused Schiff and other Democrats of trying to rewrite history and engage in personal attacks because they have failed to find clear evidence of the Trump campaign colluding with Russians.
"They've said that numerous times, probably hundreds of times, nearly all of them. Yet they never produce their collusion to our committee. So we have interviewed all these folks. We can't find any collusion. And that's where we stand now," Nunes said.
He added that they found "clear links" between the Hillary Clinton campaign and Russians, but no one seems to care about that.
"The more that you look at this, the more it is pretty obvious that you have one side that plays by one set of rules, and Republicans are held to a different set of standards," Nunes said.
Chairman Nunes has fearlessly fought Democrat opposition since he rose to prominence in 2017.
Ranking member of the House Intel Committee Adam Schiff previously hit Nunes with a bogus ethics probe which lasted 8 months in an effort to slow the Chairman down.
The House Intel Committee and the Senate Judiciary Committee are still investigating Hillary's phony dossier, the unmasking scandal and the FISA abuses committed by Obama's DOJ and FBI.HIllary Clinton, Russian Collusion, House Intelligence Committee, Robert Mueller, Russia Probe, Chairman Devin Nunes
